Lost Pubs of Tonbridge (Central)

  • Tonbridge Station Railway Approach Tonbridge, England, TN9 United Kingdom (map)

Join local historian Cathy Rishman for a guided group walk uncovering the lost pubs, breweries and hotels of central Tonbridge and their forgotten past.

You’ll discover the sites of the many pubs, hotels and breweries which were once on the High Street and surrounding areas in the 1880’s but are no longer here today.

This walk promises to provide a fascinating insight into Tonbridge’s past.

There are no pub stops en-route but there are plenty of surviving pubs and cafes in town should you wish to enjoy a drink afterwards.

Cost: £8.50 per person (all proceeds are donated to Sustain)
Meeting point: Tonbridge Railway Station (finishing at Big Bridge)
Walk leader: Cathy Rishman
